Flora 2

Scottish driftwood, oyster shells from Devon, yellow periwinkle and black lined periwinkle shells from Culnacraig, heather from Ben More

The Oyster shells with their beautiful cup shaped creamy form inspired the idea of the flower. The chunky driftwood centre was able to hold a surprise in the centre. The smaller yellow periwinkle shells add richness and contrast in size. The roots of a heather bush form the stamen of the flower or is it the feelers of the black lined periwinkle shell snail? I would like the viewer to decide.
