Smile

Driftwood with sea glass from Achiltibuie, knitted fishing line and rusty nails

I had found many small beautifully bleached branches at the beach and was undecided how best to use them.  Finding the blue sea glass in Achiltibuie changed this immediately, as I felt it needed suspending in mid-air. I knitted fishing line to achieve the suspension and the glass smile has now been caught in a net.  The branches form a ‘picture’ frame and are structurally enhanced by the rusty nails holding the frame in position.
